Gastric Cancer

Overview

Dr. Wang has rich experience in the gastric cancer staging, open and minimally invasive surgical treatment and evaluation of patients’ prognosis. Dr. Wang and his team recognized the limitation of the lymph node staging of American Joint Committee on Cancer staging system and proposed a new staging system, which was externally validated by using both eastern and western data. Both medical professionals and patients can use the following program to estimate patient’s prognosis. Dr. Wang also developed the teaching material for minimal invasive gastric cancer surgery presented at American College of Surgeon Congress 2015.
